Welcome to the new home for FF.Org forums, albeit temporary, although likely to be long-term temporary.
Have chosen 3rd party hosting for the forums until I can justify lashing out cash/spending time maintaining a board at FF.Org since the old one died. Also means there should be less threat from spambots.
As for what's happening with FF.Org itself, well I hope you have had a go at Outsider, I shall be adding features to the FF library set as time passes and incorporating those additions in to Outsider making it as automated as is possible.
I have almost finished the generic FF combat routine (viewable and useable in your your adventure creator) which as I predicted is proving to be very complex - at least more complex than most routines will be for FF.
Other than that I shall be uploading the gamebook creator guides (ABML/SEL) and other pages (reviews, links etc.) that were on the old portal to new pages on the site (not fixed to forum software) - in a very basic format over the next few weeks.
Hope you like the new front page  , one day I may even get round to making the rest of the pages look less amateur but I wouldn't hold your breath...

I used to have nearly all these FF books when they were first released back in the 80's and loved them.. only a few years ago did I sell them but now I'm getting the urge to play them again... and so I did a search for online FF and found your page. I see its not quite ready yet, but I look forward to when it is  good luck with it.. any chance you could email me aj_3d@yahoo.co.uk when the site has a game to play on it?

There already is a game to play - Outsider. Some parts of it are still in developement admittedly, and a couple of the reference links are duff - not my fault as this was taken from the authors source document, I'll have to read through quite carefully to find the correct linking. However it is still playable...

Hi Dave and yes, the spam was what I was attempting to avoid - inevitable that I will get some however, thankfully it's relatively infrequent and minor spam so far here.
